What is Veris for?

Veris helps you create proof-of-deliverables you can send to clients. Veris creates cryptographic proofs that show exactly when a file existed and that it hasn't changed since. You can share these proofs with your clients so they can verify your work at any time.

How does it work?

Your file is hashed locally. We sign the cryptographic hash with a timestamp and return a proof file (a small JSON file) you can store or send. Verification confirms the file matches the original hash.

Does my file ever leave my device?

No. Veris never receives or uploads your file. Only the hash is sent for signing.

Can my clients verify proofs?

Yes. Every proof includes a shareable link you can send to your clients. They can open the link without an account and upload the file they received to confirm it matches the proof. They can also manually verify a proof JSON file if you prefer. Verification is always free.

Do my clients need a Veris account?

No. Your clients never need a Veris account. When you send them a proof link, they can open it in their browser, upload the file you delivered, and Veris will confirm whether it matches the proof.

Can I create proofs for multiple clients?

Yes. Veris has no limits on how many clients you work with or how proofs are distributed.

What file types are supported?

Any file type can be hashed and proven. There are no format restrictions.

How long do proofs last?

Proofs are stored long-term to enable verification. They are not automatically deleted.

Can I export my proofs?

Yes. Each proof is a JSON file that you can download and store however you like.

What if I work with a team?

Team accounts are not supported yet. Each user has their own proof packs and history.

How much does it cost?

$20 AUD for 20 proofs — current pilot pricing. Verification is free.

Why is this called pilot pricing?

Veris is still in an early pilot phase, and we're actively learning how studios use proofs. During this period we may test different pricing models (e.g., pay-per-proof, subscriptions, or tiered plans). The current price you see in the app applies only to the purchase you make today. Any future pricing changes will apply only to future purchases.

Does my purchase get affected if pricing changes?

No. Proofs you buy now stay in your account permanently.

What is your refund policy?

Full refunds are available if no proofs have been used from your pack. Other refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.
